Corinne Demas teaches courses in literature and creative writing. She is the author of thirty eight books in a variety of genres. She's published six novels, two collections of short stories, a memoir, a collection of poetry, and numerous books for children, and edited an anthology of short stories. Her most recent books include the novel, The Road Towards Home and the YA novel Returning to Shore. Her one-act play Blue Straw Hat, was produced in 2009 and 2011. Her children's books include Once There Was, The Littlest Matryoshka, and the award-winning The Disappearing Island and Saying Goodbye to Lulu. She is a fiction editor of The Massachusetts Review.
