A proud graduate of a women’s college, Jen Brock has dedicated her career to marketing communications for educational institutions and non-profit organizations. She thoroughly enjoys helping schools and colleges tell their unique stories and ensuring that every stakeholder is a valued part of the experience.
Jen began her career in the marketing communications department of Northside Hospital, followed by roles at Georgia State University, Piedmont Heart Institute, and as an independent communications consultant. In 2011, she joined EM2, a design and brand agency, as Senior Account and Client Relations Manager; her clients included Spelman College, Clemson University, Mississippi State University, Springmont School (which she helped rename), and YMCA of Metro Atlanta. After leaving the agency sector, Jen served as Director of Communications and Marketing for Mercer University’s College of Pharmacy and then held the same role at The Walker School, a PK-12 non-sectarian independent school. Prior to joining ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, she led all communications for Marietta City Schools (a charter IB public school district in a suburb of Atlanta, Ga.) as Chief Communications Officer.
Born and raised in southern California, Jen considers Disneyland her absolute happiest place on Earth, with a University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) football game a very close second. She and her husband, Jon, have a college student, a law school student, and a very spoiled cat. Jen is proud to serve on the board of Pride and Less Prejudice, which provides free LGBTQ+ inclusive books to teachers, and she speaks in local schools about her family's experience in the Japanese American incarceration camps of WW2.
