“When I got my acceptance letter from �Ӱ���̳, it felt like I was being introduced to a community that genuinely wanted me to be part of it,” said �Ӱ���̳ College senior Emmanuella Umoye ’25.

�Ӱ���̳ College senior Hailee Pitschke ’25 said, “I’m really grateful that �Ӱ���̳ offered opportunities to explore niche topics in fields I am interested in. It helped nail down key academic interests.”

�Ӱ���̳ College senior Yunwei Ni ’25 said, “�Ӱ���̳ gave me the sense that everyone has the opportunity to go anywhere they want to go.”

�Ӱ���̳ College senior Grace Jaeeun Lee ’25 said, “�Ӱ���̳ has a very collaborative community, a very accepting environment, which helped with [my] confidence. Even if I bring just a little to the table, I know my peers will have my back.”

“I feel more confident and open-minded, open to doing things I would have been afraid to try before. I feel ready to take on challenges,” said �Ӱ���̳ College senior Sumaiya Jahan ’25.

“This place gives you exposure to different people, perspectives and even parts of yourself,” said �Ӱ���̳ College senior Sarah Bell ’25.

�Ӱ���̳ College senior Sander Ivanenko ’25 said, “If it weren’t for �Ӱ���̳ and the environment and professors and students, I never would have gone into science.”

J.T. Martin is �Ӱ���̳ College’s director of LGBTQ+ resources and initiatives and supports the development of affirming and inclusive LGBTQIA+ communities for MHC students, staff, faculty and alums.
